Strange Bedpersons

                            Author : Jennifer Crusie
The Hero : Nicholas Jamieson, a career oriented lawyer who would do anything to get a partnership in the law firm he is currently working in, a local celebrity who move smoothly in social circle and could charm the shocks off almost everybody ( the snake oil seller as Tess put it ).
The Lady : Tess Newheart, peace lover, do good-er, her problem is she knows that she could not make relationship with Nick, they practically mix like oil and water, but the more time she spends with him she finds out there is a lot more in Nick than the yuppie, Armani clad,partnership-is-everything-lawyer.

Description from the publisher :

Tess Newhart knows her ex-boyfriend Nick Jamieson isn’t the right guy for her. He’s caviar and champagne; she’s take-out Chinese pot stickers. He’s an uptight Republican lawyer; she was raised in a commune. He wants to get ahead in business; she just wants…him. But there’s no way Tess will play second fiddle to his job.
Yet somehow she finds herself agreeing to play his fiancée on a weekend business trip that could make or break Nick’s career. And while he’s trying to convince Tess that he needs her in his respectable world, Tess is doing her best to keep her opinions to herself and her hands off Nick.
Miss Romance says :
If you don't want people staring at you because you can't hold your laugh while reading this book, please don't read it in public place, because this one is hilarious!!
I read it on the way to and from office-home, in train, and people stare ! :) Not that i mind, i read book for de-stressing much like yoga, but better, as you could do it anytime anywhere, plus you don't need stretchy pants. So if you want some good laugh, grab this book ladies...
I love Nick, he is just so adorable when he tried to say no to Tess for seducing him in public places, and how he help Tess get out the mess she is creating. As for Tess, i wish she is not so angry to everything, after sometime her anger and nastiness to Nick really irritates, good for her to have Gina as her best friend, her simple view in life makes Tess realize that some cause needs sacrifice for, and her love for Nick is definitely on the top list.
And for the extra pleasure, Gina and Park love story in this book is also rather cute. I will surely look for another book by Miss Crusie..
